We never thought in our wildest dreams that we would reach some of those countries, it’s amazing.

Overall — all of the statistics for this year are nearly a direct double (increase of 100%) over the year 2006. Hopefully we can make this happen again in 2008 :).

Linda is still working on a massive update, slowly plunking along on it, she should be done soon-ish!

RSHumor will be 2 years old on January 27th :). What a ride it’s been. Thanks to everyone who supports us and those especially who submit pictures. We appreciate each and every one of you.

As it stands currently, it’s approximately 7 minutes from midnight in the Pacific (-8) region…so it only seems appropriate to be a little early in saying Merry (or Happy to our English viewers) Christmas to everyone (or Happy Holidays if we must be politically correct). This year has been incredible…we never in our wildest dreams thought the site would become this popular. To date no one has managed to successfully replicate what you guys have helped to create, and that is something that we are more than proud of, originality.

Things may be kind of quiet on the front side of things until New Years (but I will start thumbing through and rejecting images during that period) — both Linda and I will be much more active once things come around and we hope to have some fun things in this upcoming year. The site will be 2 years old on Jan 8th I believe, so that is quite exciting.

I’ll post some stats about the previous year come Jan 1, so you all can see the amazing accomplishments of rshumor, but the general consensus is that we want to double any figures which I will be publishing next year, there is so many people who do not yet know about rshumor and who would really enjoy it. Help get the word out

Keep submitting those pictures, we’ll do our best to catch up ASAP.

Despite accusations that I wouldn’t get the layout done before xmas, I have in fact gotten it done nearly 2 weeks in advance. *takes a bow*

PS - Travis even managed to update the site without breaking anything for extended periods of time, yay!

I’m currently sending Travis 220 images to add, which takes care of all the images that have been sitting on my desktop, lonely, for weeks.

This also means that I can dig into the hundreds of new images awaiting approval! Hurrah!

I think it’s also worth noting that I meant to make an xmas layout several weeks ago but I’ve been busy doing other things (like .. not doing the things Travis asks me to do..) and not gotten around to finishing it. With any luck I’ll have that done tomorrow night and we’ll have it up in time for xmas (which is like, 2 weeks away yeh?)

I’d also like to say that several of the images being added shortly literally made me laugh out loud. Thank you for that, it’s really the only way I can manage to look through hundreds of images. I just wait to find those gems
