Yet another feature…but this one is a double-whammy!!

Today we released the “Quick Jump” feature which has been requested a few times, type in a image number (ID) and it’ll take you to it instantly, no more URL manipulation necessary, how wonderful =). The search feature has been a huge hit — we’ve started to update the database a little bit, it will take us a while to catch up, so we encourage you to check back to that page frequently.

Runescape Pking has been given a COMPLETE face lift and more of the features and wonderful benefits of rshumor have been extended to it. If you haven’t checked it out in a while, it may be worth checking it out now. The Search functionality has also been restored thanks to a clever search function that we wrote for rshumor yesterday =). Much more accurate and efficient.

That’s all. As of right NOW, I just talked to Linda and it looks like we may be able to squeeze out an update tomorrow, so get your pictures in ASAP so they have the best chance of being included!

We’ve got one or two more “Updates” that we want to do, but we’re not totally sure if they can be finished in the next day or two, so they may just have to be released as they become complete. Half-baked features are no fun!

And now, at 2AM Linda and I have completed another high demand request “Searching”. The database isn’t really up to date however, but we’ll be working on that in the coming weeks to get it up to date so you can find the pictures that you really want.

There is one drawback, but if you can’t figure it out than there’s no reason to tell you :P.

We’ll work on a solution to this soon enough.

Today we’re releasing one of the most…anticipated features in a while.

Comments && Names!

What this means is, if you go to a URL in the VIEWALL module (Only on the viewall module do they show up) you can see the person who submitted the picture (If accurate, will cover this in a moment) and the “remark” about the picture.

So from now on, all comments that you submit on a picture should be relevant, not just a bunch of LOL!”!11!!111!!!111!!!111one stuff, that does no good for anyone. It’s your chance to provide a story (accurately) behind the picture. It occurred to me last week that a lot of the voting on pictures was “down” simply because they didn’t understand the picture, or something they didn’t see in the picture at first glance told the true story. This now lets you vote more accurately, and it allows people to find your pictures in our (soon to be released) Search Function!

As always, we reserve the right to remove/edit comments at any time (and have for a couple thousand images, to make them more relevant). Swearing in comments is not permissible, yada yada — don’t do it please. It means we have to take the time to remove it, which prevents us from updating images faster.

Please keep in mind that we did go through about a couple thousand pictures and update the Name and Comment as best we could to accurately reflect the picture. Those of you that are fimiliar with our update process know that we overwrite the rejected images to keep Image ID’s reflective of how many actual images there are. When we do this, the Name and Comment *until recently* were not removed. We’ve since changed our methodology to prevent this from happening, and we strive for quality more now than ever.

If you submitted a picture and you’re name is not on it (when you come across it), or the opposite of this statement: you did not submit a picture and your name is on it. Please shoot us an email via the “Contact Us” page and we’ll correct is ASAP. Check it out, it’s fun stuff =)

123 New Pictures added to the database today. We will hopefully do another update towards the end of the week, pending a few things.

Please vote on these images, and all images that you take a look at (and vote honestly).

As a reminder: We can see your IP and ALL votes that you cast, individuals who are assholes and vote everything “down” may be banned from the ENTIRE website.

Just don’t do it, it’s annoying (though we can fix it in a matter of seconds — still…don’t be assholes).

Good evening to you all =) As you may or may not have noticed, today we added a wonderful voting system to the website. To vote on an image, simply find it (or vote on the current one you see) and press the thumbs up/down icons to cast your vote.

Please don’t be asses, the votes help us determine which images should be taken off the site, so don’t go voting everything up, or down. We CAN see all votes that you cast, and any problem “voters” will be taken care of properly =)

Sorry that you had that shitty voting system for a year, it’s gone now, and I promise it will never return.

Travis is moving primary locations this weekend, so there will hopefully be an update on Monday, get those screenies in!

Today brings 144 new image to the database for you to peruse and enjoy. As mentioned before (or not)…We hope to have a new “Thumbs Up/Down” voting system in place (On both RSHumor.Net and RunescapePking.Com) by some time next week (pending no chance of rain). This will replace the current rating system which we…hate.

It worked for like the first day of the site, then we just got annoyed.

Thanks for being patient during the lack of updates, summer starts next week for us, and we hope to do really huge updates (potentially) every week, so keep those pictures coming, and keep telling your friends about rshumor so they submit their pictures too. =)

After the realization hit me this afternoon that things have been quiet (and yet bumpy, without notice) I think you guys should get an update. Enjoy!

We are pleased to announce the newest addition to our network “RuneUploads.com” which is a Runescape Picture hosting site (Much like imageshack, but without the pop-ups and other garbage, simple, fast, and to the point). I would encourage you guys to test it out. We are now officially removing our endorsement of “imagepile.net” because of this alternative that we have created (and ImagePile isn’t so great anymore, anyway). We hope that you all enjoy it, and we more than welcome any suggestions that you can provide for how we can improve it and to make it into your image host of choice =).

After this weekend (One more ferocious week of studying before I can get back to working on things for all of you, my loves) we hope to launch our brand new Thumbs Up/Down rating system (because the current one sucks, and is outdated to hell and back. This will be sort of like UrbanDictionary in how it updates with just a click and such…now you guys will have more control over images, as we’ll be able to see the “lowest” rated (IF YOU VOTE!) and can remove images accordingly. Yes, we do get lots of “That’s not funny!” complaints, but humor is incredibly subjective.

Tomorrow there will (hopefully) be a HUGE update, depends on if Linda chooses to sleep or not. Stay tuned for more information
