I procrastinated a lot with this update, I apologize. I seem to do this a lot lately and I need to stop. Work was hectic this past week, with the holidays and all. But sort of as a way to make up for the late update, I just put the finishing touches on a 203 image update. We’re at 3151 now and baby, Christmas break isn’t even over =P

I’ll try to squeeze another update in before New Years but I’m not making any guarantees or promises on it.

I’d also like to wish you guys a belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year if I don’t get around to updating before then <3

Well I never imagined this day would actually come (Well…it hasn’t yet), but we’re nearing the one year birthday of RSHumor.net

First I’d like to share some rough statistics for this past year (website wise).

Over 90,000 unique people visited rshumor in this last year
Nearly 17,000,000 (17 Million) images were viewed in this past year. (That’s about double the population of the entire UK, + a couple odd million!)
Nearly 23,000,000 (23 Million) Web Page Views in the past year.
Over 3,000 Accepted Images placed into the database
The database of pictures is nearly 150MB
The amount of bandwidth used this year is near 650GB

This makes RSHumor one of the fastest growing new Runescape related websites to date. We’ve got a lot of work to go, but I’d like to thank each and every one of you for helping promote, contributing too, and visiting RSHumor.net. We really couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you.

How are we going to thank you? Cookies just don’t seem appropriate. A drop party, of course! — We here at RSHumor.net rarely spare any expense to bring you the best technology for the best web browsing experience, so why would we be cheap about a drop party. This party has a huge budget, but we just can’t figure out what to drop. We need your help!

The official 1 year birthday of RSHumor isn’t until the 27th of Jan — At which point I’ll probably post updated stats that should be more impressive.We’ve
come so far in one year, and Linda and I would again like to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of our hearts. Hopefully the Drop Party attendance will be record smashing (I think we can manage it) and is sure to be a whole hell of a lot of fun.Happy

145 new images for tonight, that puts us at 2948 images. In other words, almost 3k images.

I’m awed to be honest. I never saw us getting this far, especially not in a year. We’re not even at the one year mark and we’re closing in on 3k already, that’s simply incredible. For those wondering, RSH was released on January 29th, 2006.

I know that I said weeks ago that I was going to try and finish up descriptions and names on all the images but I’ve been busy with work and just life in general so I haven’t had the chance to get more done on it. I plan to get more done tonight but I’m not gonna even hazard a guess on how many I can finish within the next hour or two.

That being said, enjoy the update - there were quite a few in this week’s update that actually made Travis and I laugh aloud.
