I apologize for the late update this week. I was sick a good bit of the week, add onto that 8 hours of work and you have a very exhausted Linda =P Plus Travis has been MIA and unable to yell at me and make me do the update lol, so I procrastinated. Almost went to bed before I remembered I had images to update with.. so here they are, all 80 of them ^^

Ugh it makes me angry. Basically for the past week I’ve been ripping my hair out debugging code. The problem may have been located this evening at may be something wrong with a switch port (Data center). Hopefully this can be fixed as quick as possible and the problem will be solved, if the problem isn’t solved, then we have a nice big OS problem on our hands. Those are always fun. As always, RSHumor is not affected because they are on two different servers for performance stability currently. We have another site almost ready, but it’s not quite there, so there is more to look forward too.

In other news, this is on a very very old news post, but you can contact us via AIM. Travis goes by “rshumour” and I (Linda) have the name “rshumor” - also, we do have characters on Runescape that correspond with these. Travis is “rshumour” in-game and I am “rshumor”. If we happen to be in-game, feel free to say hi - also feel free to drop us a line on AIM, just remember that we are busy people! =) We’d love to hear from you guys.

Added another 93 images to RSHumor.

In regards to the scoreboard on RSpking.com, it will be back up as soon as Travis fixes it. Let’s all nudge him so he fixes it quicker ^^

The site exploded fairly fast though, nearly overnight actually. Special thanks to Meg for advertising the hell out of it everywhere. We’ve passed 1k images already and it was released not even a month ago (about two and a half weeks ago ;o!)

If you have won a prize and have not yet claimed it (or at least sent an email to us regarding it), your time is running out! You have until the 15th to claim the prizes/send us an email (admin@rshumor.net). If it is not claimed, we will be giving the prizes to others =) Once all prizes are given out, we will be posting pictures of us trading to them and all that. If you didn’t win anything, don’t be discouraged, we have plans for other things similar to this in the future!

I’ve been getting a few complaints about the loading speed of runescapepking.com — This has all been fixed up and it’s loading faster than ever. Images are now cached, and I fixed a query that went skitzo and messed up everything. Sorry for any problems. Submit your pictures

This week brings a total of 170 new images to our database, this tops us over the 2k image mark. As we said in the 1000th image post, thank you to everyone that visits this site daily, weekly, or monthly and especially the ones that submit pictures. You make this site what it is. We really do appreciate it.

Now for what you’ve all been waiting for — the prizes!
(We did decide to give quite a few prizes to people that: 1) Frequently submit pictures or 2) People who submitted quite a few since the last update, simply as a token of our appreciation. There was quite a bit of competition in the final minutes, no thanks to lalala :P, we really do love you though, Urza <3).

This weekend we will be doing some compatibility upgrades to rshumor, ensuring that it will work with erm…our other architecture that we’ve been developing for a while. If the site doesn’t work for a few moments, please try again. RSPking will be using this blog for their updates as well, and that site is going to be completely recoded, it just isn’t working efficiently enough. We appologize to persons that have seen abominable load times on that site — We’re working on it!

*By 2000th accepted image, we mean the image that made us hit the 2000 mark. To determine who submitted this particular image, we updated with the submitted images first, to see where that put us (it was past 2000) and then viewed page 2000 on view all. After that was figured out, we added the other images. We really ended at about 2050 images today.

Well — really I suppose it isn’t missing, it just hasn’t been “found” yet. In case you have no idea what I’m referring too, the 2000th image that has yet to be added to RSHumor (Because it hasn’t been submitted yet).

The person that submits the 2000th image (to be accepted (NO CRAPPY PICTURES!!!!)) will receive a prize of 2,000,000 GP (2M GP). The stats page is going to be disabled, you won’t know when you submit your image, and you won’t know when or if it has already been submitted. Winner will be posted — eventually.

Best of luck to everyone. We might think of some other addition to the prize pool, for runners up…Start pouring in the images now.

Winner will be determined by the name placed in the “Name” box when said image is submitted. Contest is void where prohibited, images submitted by persons other than the owner of the image will be discarded and or voided. RSHumor.Net employees and their families are ineligible to win. Don’t cheat. We can see all.
